Visitors & Camping
This lake is spring-fed and the water is of drinking quality with both Large Mouth Bass, Spotted Bass and Tilapia in it. The area is home to an abundance of birdlife and sightings of a number of small game species have been recorded.

Who We Are
About Bass Lake
After having been originally started over 30 years ago by Alan Pepper, Bass Lake has become known and loved as the primary open-water dive spot in Gauteng for beginners and experts alike.
Over the years, this 75-hectare estate has grown into a full adventure resort, including open water swimming, kayaking, picnicking, swimming, hiking, snorkelling, team building, fishing (seasonal), a world-class 4×4 track, even has a fun and inviting restaurant called Lake Vibez and so much more!

Archery
Whether you’re a beginner or simply looking for a fun outdoor activity, our archery experience offers a great way to test your focus and accuracy in a relaxed natural setting. Advance booking is required to ensure availability.
Diving and off-roading is hungry work. Our restaurant has good food and a friendly, warm atmosphere.
