The wedding ceremony may be held
at our venue. The ceremony area is set up utilizing a draped arch at our
waterfront. Chairs will be set up in our garden area, under large thatched
gazebos for guests to be seated, overlooking the lake. You will be responsible
for arrangements with the marriage officer or priest.
Full draping of the marquee can
be arranged at an additional cost. Draping does enhance the atmosphere if
limited draping is done on the sides of the marquee.
The flower arrangements and decor
for the tables will depend on your preferences as they range in various styles
and prices.
The bridal party may contract third parties or alternatively, we are able to arrange ant requirements that you may have at additional fee.
The outside garden area will also
be set up with garden tables, chairs and umbrellas for the guest to relax while
you have your photographs taken.
Photograps and video may be taken
in the venue and garden area beside the marquee. The venue lends itself well to
bridal photographs.
"The Lakeside" venue
can seat 120 guests (without a dance floor) and 80 guests (with a dance floor). Further guests can be catered for by adding on an additional marquee.
When booking the venue, in house catering is applicable with full service.
Reception-Wide rectangular
tables, seating maximum of 12 guests per table, are used. A Bridal table will be
set up according to your requirements.
We will supply a draped table for
the wedding cake.
We offer white tablecloths,
overlays in hunters green, antique gold, lacy white cotton and deep purple. We further supply napkins in white and hunters green. Should you require Bass Lake to hire
other alternative overlays and napkins on your behalf, please do not hesitate to
contact us for the colour selection and quotation. We can arrange any colour
chair covers for the reception seating.
Tables will be set using green
enamelware or white crockery and stainless steel cutlery.
We offer the option of having a
cash bar or pre-arranged limit account. We set up a complete bar with all
accessories and provide the necessary barman.

Bass Lake Adventures have recently taken over the recreation club, situated at our entrance on the upper level (previously managed by the Glen Douglas Mine). This facility has a hall that seats up to 180 people and a full bar facility. |
