About Us
After having been originally started over 30 years ago by Alan Pepper, Bass Lake has become known and loved as the primary open-water dive spot in Gauteng for beginners and experts alike.
Over the years, this 75-hectare estate has grown into a full adventure resort, including open water swimming, kayaking, picnicking, swimming, snorkelling, fishing (seasonal), a world-class 4×4 track and so much more! Alan Pepper has been retained as the general manager at Bass Lake as well as its dedicated 4×4 instructor.
